The promise

  • That it simplifies the delivery of content and education.
  • That it allows for real-time, deep evaluation and monitoring of the whole process.
  • That teachers are empowered to bring into classrooms pedagogical methods long promised, but never before possible or practical in schools.
  • That eLearning will finally bring truly personalized and individualized content.

And yet, decision makers and pedagogues worldwide continue to remain frustrated by the results of the implementation of eLearning programmes and unsatisfied by its adoption. Government-sponsored acquisitions of content proved to be rigid; the content is sometimes too difficult to adapt to real-school-experience and heavily under-used. Teachers should be able to easily create or adapt high-quality multimedia content, based on an existing library of ready-made, pedagogical learning templates, reducing thus their dependency on industry-created content.

eLearning proved oftentimes more of a burden than a help.

The eduVision 2020  International Conference debates the causes for which the adoption of eLearning lags behind the adoption of IT in society, bringing to the table policy makers, education pioneers and experts to discuss lessons learned and present real case-studies based on UK’s and Romania’s experience in the adoption of eLearning solutions of the future.

After more than a decade of research a group of international scientists, experts in pedagogy and IT professionals succeeded to create a cloud based pedagogical approach ready to fulfill the historical eLearning promises.

The overall objective of this project is to increase access to quality education by modernizing and digitizing existing curriculum and tools for teaching, learning, assessment and examination in accordance to the current orientation of modern education, aimed at changing the approach from curriculum-centered to learner-centered.
